, painting and arts and crafts… the Méli-mélo fair is back on Sunday September 29 at Vigen

Authors for adults and young readers, painters, creative artisans, it’s all that goes into the tasty recipe of a festival cooked to perfection for its edition this Sunday, September 29.

Created in 2011, the book fair was enriched with the participation of painters, photographers and art creators. The initial objective, which was to bring together the inhabitants of the town, was quickly achieved, then exceeded, as visitors, authors and exhibitors come from further and further away each year. The Graines de culture association and the municipality are sticking to the founding idea, the recipe for a successful event: a large, bright and well-appointed room where exhibitors are comfortably seated and pampered by volunteers.

Thirty-three authors

Talented authors and artists, exciting and passionate, they rush to come to Méli-Mélo.

The inauguration will take place at 11 a.m. and will be followed by the presentation of the Briance Prize, which recognizes the work selected by the jury. At 2:30 p.m., a round table devoted to the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre will be moderated by Dominique Danthieux with the presence of Agathe Hébras and Frank Hyvernaud.

At 4:30 p.m., Marcel Valière will provide the dictation of the past. Throughout the day, young and old will be able to discover René Coudert’s wooden games and the works of craftsmen. Among the authors present, Yves Aubard will present the last two volumes of the Limousins ​​saga, Agathe Hébras will offer the comic strip which traces the life of her grandfather, Robert Hébras, the last witness of Oradour, Sébastien Vidal will dedicate his latest work Of snow and wind winner of the Landerneau Polar 2024 prize. The regional of the stage, Michel Dudognon will bring his very latest local novel, Return to Brégère.

Thirty-three authors including four youth authors in total, four painters, an illustrator and three designers will be present.
