“U Cavagnëtu”, the highly anticipated back-to-school picnic for the Monegasques, was born in 1931. This Saturday, September 7, from 5:15 p.m., nearly 900 people had gathered in the Princesse-Antoinette park. Charlene and Albert of Monaco, accompanied by their adorable twins, made their appearance at 6 p.m. As tradition dictates, the princely family was greeted by two Palladienne dancers, who presented them with charming bouquets of flowers. Always as close, the couple seduced with their relaxed elegance: while Prince Albert wore a light suit with a beautiful effect, with light-colored pants for a summery reminder, Charlène sparkled in her new flagship piece, an elegantly asymmetrical jumpsuit.

For this beautiful occasion, the princely twins were just as elegant. Hereditary Prince Jacques attracted admiration in his outfit matching that of his father, while Princess Gabriella once again confirmed her taste for light shades. The princely family watched with delight the demonstration of the folk group La Palladienne de Monaco, which ensures the perpetuation of the traditions of the Rock, and participates in all the festivities of the principality throughout the year. After the mass, the little family took the road back, while the Monegasques enthusiastically discovered the novelties of this year’s edition: a workshop for children allowing them to make small baskets, and a grand ball to conclude the evening.
