As part of the end of training ceremony for the 219th promotion of Enap in Agen and the arrival of the Minister of Justice this Thursday, the families of the victims and the survivors of the terrible attack will be present to pay tribute to the agents fallen into service.

The end of training ceremony for the 219th class of student guards will be held this Thursday morning at the National School of Prison Administration. As a symbol, Fabrice Moello and Arnaud Garcia were the two names unanimously chosen by the 469 students.

On Tuesday May 14, 2024, these two prison officers escorted a repeat and dangerous prisoner, Mohamed Amra, as part of an extraction mission. While the convoy is at the Incarville tollbooth (Eure), a commando storms the van. Fabrice Moello and Arnaud Garcia were shot dead on the spot.

By choosing this vibrant tribute, the students of the 219th promotion have demonstrated their desire to close the ranks of this prison family. Just as symbolic, the families of the victims of the attack will be present this Thursday morning during the ceremony, as will three colleagues who survived the assault.

For the occasion, and as announced several days ago in these columns, Gérald Darmanin, Minister of Justice, will go to Agen. Before the start of the end of training ceremony scheduled around 10 a.m., the Minister of Justice will speak with the relatives of the missing.
