The Departmental Committee 82 of Volleyball organized with the Departmental Technical Manager of the French Federation of Volley, Patricia Acadine of the selections of young players M18 for the first time in this category this season. The clubs concerned for the 82 were Montauban, Beaumont de Lomagne, Castelsarrasin-moissac and for the Lot department the clubs of Cahors and Lalbenque. Thus could be made up a female team and a male team with a dozen players in each team to represent the Tarn and Garonne (with the Lotois players). The captain of the girls was Eden Montet de Montauban and for the boys Sam Prévot de Cahors-Lalbenque. After a few intense training sessions organized in Montauban, the competition day took place Thursday May 1 in Fonsorbes for boys and Seysses for girls. This day was intense with a lot of matches. The girls clashed with teams from Tarn, Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, Aveyron and Haute Garonne and finished 4th in the standings. The boys against the teams of the same departments ended 6th. The Lotois returned late in the exhausted evening but happy to have participated in these regional meetings.
