It was around 4:30 p.m. that water has arrived everywhere. It mainly came from the mountain. It was a muddy water that took everything away, five cars in particular, but also all the selective sorting trash cans that ended up in the main street. The water has also entered the courses of the houses and in a few houses, some residents have lost everything. As of Sunday, the roads were closed and the main road was closed overnight on Sunday to Monday, because reckless people were committed to it. ”
Cleaning in progress
This Tuesday, cleaning operations continued.
“There was a lot of solidarity in the village, and the firefighters helped us well to clean. There is still work. We have already withdrawn two mud bins, but all the ditches we had priests in the fall are blocked, “said the elected official.
The municipality has already filed, such as Labarthe-Rivière, a request for recognition of the state of natural disaster.
