Four talents were in the running on Saturday evening on TF1: Mega for the Vianney team, Gianni and Mickael Gallo for those of Zaz and Patricia Kaas, and the trio Il Cello, coached by Florent Pagny. And it was the latter who won the trophy.
“Unheard of,” said Nikos Aliagas. It must be said that it is the first time that a group has won the show, but it is also and above all because the three men, Sébastien Longhi, Levon Khozian and Salvatore Livolsi, did not even know each other before participating in the program!
The three singers presented themselves individually in blind auditions. Selected in the Florent Pagny team, the interpreter of “Knowing how to love” could not keep one after the group test and decided to select them all. “We have never done what we are going to do there, but we will have to find a group name and I will keep you all three,” he launched, upset by their interpretation of “Nessun Dorma”, an air for tenor drawn from the “Turandot” opera of Puccini.
This is the sixth time that Florent Pagny has won “The Voice”.
