A little boy of approximately 2 years old fell this Tuesday, May 6 at the end of the afternoon from the 8th floor of a residential building in Grasse. The young victim, polytraumatized, was in cardiorepiratory arrest when the firefighters arrived. The child died.

The facts took place boulevard Albert 1er, in the town of Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes. According to the communication service of the department firefighters, a child of approximately 2 years fell on Tuesday on the 8th floor of a building.
-According to the SDIS, the small victim is in cardiorepiratory and polytraumatized. It was taken care of by firefighters and the mobile emergency and resuscitation service – SMUR.
At 5:40 p.m., resuscitation was underway. The SDIS announced the death of the child at 6:10 p.m. The circumstances of the accident are not known for the moment.
A request for air transport to evacuate it was made as well as an ambulance of the firefighters to support the family.
Four rescue machines, seven firefighters, but also the police were on site.
