The presence of Dirk Van de Put in ‘Meetjesland’ is part of the collaboration established between Mondelez and Lotus Bakeries. Officialized in 2024, this partnership plans that Mondelez produces and distributes Lotus Biscoff cookies on the Indian market. The ambitions are high: “Biscoff can generate $ 100 million in turnover in India within five years; a lower would disappoint me,” said Van de Put. “India is certainly a country consumer country, but Biscoff is perfectly agreed with this drink,” he added.
