
US President Donald Trump has dismissed “any possibility” about the use of military force to seize Greenland, insisting on the need to acquire this territory for the benefit of international security, in an interview on the antenna of NBC News.

“I’m not saying I’m going to do it, but I don’t exclude any possibility,” he told the American channel.
“We desperately need Greenland […] We will take care [de sa population] And cherish it, but we need it for international security, “he added.
The desire of 47e President of American to annex Greenland raised questions on the security of the semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, while the United States, Russia and China all covet the Arctic.
Trump, however, mentioned that the use of military force to annex Canada and make it on 51e American state was “strongly improbable”.
