The nature protection office Sudbury conservation announces that the Vermilion river between Hanmer and Whitefish, including Lake McCharles, is the subject of a flood warning.
Indeed, the water levels of the Vermilion and Onaping rivers continue to flood the low zones and to cover certain local roads.
It will take time for them to return to typically spring levels, according to the body.
The Wanapitei river level is also high due to a strong snow cast in the upper part of the watershed, which means that the levels of downstream rivers remain high.

Although this week is not expected this week to generalized floods in this watershed, ponds located in the low altitude areas are possible, warns Sudbury conservation in a press release.
Residents must monitor the development of the situation.
This warning remains in force until Thursday at 5 p.m.
