
A triplex from rue Durham, north of Sherbrooke, was the prey of the flames on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
According to the Sherbrooke fire protection service, the fire broke out around 1:55 am outside the building, on a balcony. He then settled in the roof of the building.
The six residents of the place had to be evacuated, but no one was injured in the fire. A woman and her daughter must turn to the Red Cross, while the other four residents have found refuge with family members.

About twenty firefighters were called to control the blaze.

In total, around twenty firefighters were deployed to master the flames, which required a third alarm. These were checked shortly after.
-The building is a total loss. When writing these lines, it is too early to assess the cost of damage.

The origin of the blaze is not yet known, but for the moment, nothing indicates that a criminal hand is behind this fire.
