[VIDÉO] A triplex takes fire to Durham Street in Sherbrooke

A triplex from rue Durham, north of Sherbrooke, was the prey of the flames on the night of Monday to Tuesday.

According to the Sherbrooke protection service, the fire broke out around 1:55 am outside the building, on a balcony. He then settled in the roof of the building.

The six residents of the place had to be evacuated, but no one was injured in the fire. A woman and her daughter must to the Red Cross, while the other four residents have refuge with members.

About twenty firefighters were to control the blaze.

In total, around twenty firefighters were deployed to master the flames, which required a third alarm. These were checked shortly after.

The building is a total loss. When writing these lines, it is too early to assess the cost of damage.

Residents of the building had to be evacuated, but no one was injured.

The origin of the blaze is not yet known, but for the moment, nothing indicates that a criminal hand is behind this fire.
