Discreet and capable of thwarting the Defense systems of the Ukrainian army, this new drone with a reaction engine is becoming one of the masterpieces of the Russian forces.
For several weeks, the Russian army has experienced a new weapon to try to unravel the Ukrainian defenses and reach more in -depth targets inside the country. This new drone with a jet engine, not a piston engine, has many advantages and has already shown its effectiveness during strikes in the Odessa region.
As Forbes reveals, the main intelligence department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported at the beginning of the month the appearance of this new ammunition of strolling known as the Banderol.
The new Russian forces strategy
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry indicates that the drone was developed by Krshtadt JSC and KT Unmanned Systems JSC. It is unknown for the moment what are the technical specifics of the banner but, thanks to its jet engine, it would be able to reach 400 to 500 kilometers per hour, while flying higher and further than traditional tracking ammunition.
