The abuser and torturer of children René Osterwalder died in Pöschwies prison in Regensdorf (ZH). He committed suicide with the help of an accompaniment organization in death.
The man was sentenced in 1998 to 17 years’ imprisonment and internment. He died on April 16, the Keystone-ATS department told the Canton of Zurich on Monday, thus confirming information from the information Free daily “20 minute”.
René Osterwalder had been interned since 1998. In 1991 and 1992, he abused a baby and a small child and tortured them. He had also filmed his misdeeds.
