The 60th edition of the European Karate Championships takes place in Yerevan in Armenia from May 7 to 11, 2025.

The 15 athletes selected are among the European karatekas, and these European championships promise to be a decisive moment in their sports journey, with high -level performance objectives. During the 2024 edition in Croatia, the team had won 10 medals, including a gold medal won by Alizée Agier in Kumité, category -68 kg.

Ten of these athletes benefit from the support of the department as part of the high -level athlete support system. They excel in their karate disciplines and in different categories: individual fights, individual kata, para karate, combat team and kata team. Among them, Killian Cizo will take part in the European Championships 2025 by team in combat while Sydney Yvon will be engaged in the individual combat .

Three Valdoisian clubs will be represented, including two labeled “Excellence Clubs”: Karate Elite Argenteuil and the friendly and sporting association of Sarcelles (ASS), supported by the department up to € 75,000 in total. Regarding the third club, it is the Gonesse Karate Club.
