Members of the City Council of Mohammédia have expressed strong criticism against the agenda of the ordinary session of May 2025. They denounce a program essentially composed of conventions and partnerships whose objective, according to them, would be “ spend public money “For the purposes” electoralist ».
Hespress FR was able to consult the agenda of this May session, broadcast to all members of the Council upstream of its outfit scheduled for Tuesday, May 6. This document includes in particular a point relating to the granting of exceptional financial support in the amount of 6.5 million dirhams for the benefit of the Chabab El Mohammédia football club.
The Council also provides for the examination and adoption of a project of partnership and cooperation agreement between the municipality of Mohammédia and the association ” Hawass “, Aiming to promote artistic performance and cultural exchanges. Added to this is the study and validation of the modification of modification n ° 1 to the partnership agreement concluded between the municipality of Mohammedia and the association of the Chabab El Mohammédia sports club, signed on November 10, 2022.
This endorsement n ° 1 provides for the granting, by the municipality of Mohammedia represented by its president Hicham Aït Menna, of a unique exceptional subsidy in the amount of 6,500,000 dirhams in favor of the Chabab El Mohammédia football club.
The document specifies that the entry into force of this endorsement is conditioned by its signature by all the parties concerned as well as by its validation by the competent authorities.
-It should be noted that the Chabab El Mohammédia club is experiencing a particularly difficult sporting season. Indeed, his catastrophic results made him lose his place in the first division of the professional championship, with a total of only 4 points collected in 28 days.
The agenda also includes the study and approval of an amendment to the agreement signed between the municipality of Mohammedia and the company Casablanca Development, as well as the examination of a partnership project between the municipality, the Research, Development and Innovation Foundation in Sciences and Engineering (FRDISI), the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) of Mohammedia and the association of the industrial zone of Mohammedia (Azim). This partnership aims at the socio-professional integration of young people through sport.
Also on the agenda, another point relates to the study and approval of the modifying amendment of article 13 of the tax decision n ° 01 dated May 15, 2024, relating to the tax on the degradation of roads and sidewalks. In addition to the agenda is added the examination and validation of the specifications concerning the management of the beaches of the municipality, as well as that defining the conditions and methods of allocating subsidies to associations active in the territory of Mohammédia.
Finally, the sixth part of the agenda concerns the examination and approval of a project of partnership agreement between the municipality of Mohammédia and the Roue d’Or association in order to support and promote cycling, as well as a project of partnership and cooperation agreement with the Association Network Free Citizenship and Mohammedia training, with a view to strengthening institutional performance and encouraging citizen participation.
