At the Stade des Griffonnes de Monts, 22 teams clashed as part of the departmental finals of the U11 challenges, boys and girls, organized by the District of Indre-et-Loire de football, with AS Monts Football as a host club, Saturday May 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “This annual competition is the culmination of three qualifying laps, with a total of 130 teams from Indre-et-Loire”indicates Christophe Brossard, Deputy President of the District. Three distinct challenges were organized: 8 male teams in departmental challenge, 8 educational male teams and 6 women’s teams for the departmental challenge.
The sports day brought together 250 young players, in the presence of many parents. No less than 60 highly played games took place and 180 goals were scored, on average three goals per game. “A pleasant day, with an impeccable state of mind of all the actors: players, educators and parents”comments Guillaume Giutini, youth technical advisor from the district. “This success is also due to the contribution of members of the youth commission of the district for the organization party, and also to the four young official arbitrators. »»
