Kaolack’s “Saer Dièye Bakary” primary school has changed a lot. In the grip of advanced degradation and a glaring lack of means, the establishment is struggling to fulfill its educational mission. Faced with this alarming situation, the management appeals to donations for the rehabilitation of infrastructure. A gesture all the more crucial since this school has formed several eminent executives of the country.
“The school has formed many executives. It is a school that marked the story of Kaolack, only thanks to its former students. The Saer Dièye Bakary school is a Kaolack school, but it is known far beyond the borders of Senegal. It is an opportunity to launch a call for them to come to the source. There are products from this school that are scattered around the world. This is an opportunity to launch an appeal for them to come to the source, ”says Ibrahima Diouf President of the Ndangane Codec.
Continuing his remarks, the president of the collective of school directors at the microphone of Iradio, arrested former students and the good will to fly to the rescue of the establishment. “The role of teachers is to provide courses. As a reminder, beyond the appeal launched towards the former residents of the establishment, the primary school “Saer Dièye Bakary” plans to celebrate its centenary on the second Wednesday in May. Founded in 1925, it played a significant role in the development and strengthening of the education system in Kaolack, with many pioneers of education among its former students.
