young Sylvain Marty has made a new podium. He finished 3rd in the Occitanie 2025 regional championship during the 14th XC of Congenies, organized by the Calvisson VTT (FFC).
Sylvain, 19, is a student in science and technology of physical and sports activities (Staps) in Montpellier and rolls for the Béziers Mediterranean Cycling (BMC) in the Espoirs category.
Rightly so, the young champion is particularly satisfied with this podium. He only resumed mountain biking only week before the regional championship, the BMC being a road club. If the physical form was there, it was still technically limited because of its lack of mountain bike practice. Its complementarity nevertheless demonstrates a potential which still has great surprises.
Sylvain is currently participating in the Tour du Charollais, a national road elite race.
The next importance of importance will be the Coupe de France Élite VTT XC in Guéret in the Creuse Saturday April 26 And certainly the French mountain biking championship XC in early July in Puy-Saint-Vincent in the Alps.
His family and supporters patiently await the new exploits of this young mascabardesian.
