Nasser Jabbour, Director of the National Institute of Geophysics, confirmed that the province of Al -Haouz witnessed, today, Tuesday, May 6, the registration of a 4.5 earthquake on the Richter scale.
The director of the National Institute of Geophysics said in a statement singled out for “Kash 24” that the earthquake center, which occurred at about 12 and 21 minutes, was in the three -year -old Naqoub group at a depth of 11 km.
In this context, Nasser Jabbour stressed that this tremor is normal and does not claim fear or anxiety, as it comes as a continuation of the earthquake’s activity that struck the area on the eighth of September 2023, stressing that this seismic activity will continue for a while.
It is worth noting that many citizens clearly felt the aforementioned tremor, as they created terror in them and restored the earthquake to their minds.
