In 2022, a new association “Arbis MX Legend Porte-de-Benauge” comprising 13 members was created to rehabilitate the famous Circuit de Motocross d’Arbois-Porte-de-Benauge (Gironde), next to Bordeaux.
The work began in July 2023 on part of the circuit of yesteryear.
The approval of the track by the French motorcycle federation (FFM) will take place in 2025.
A 1,400 m loop
The motocross loop will have a length of 1,400 meters and a width of 6 meters.
The Benauges Moto-Clubcreated in Arbis in 1950, was marked by people from the town like Louis Fresquet, Roland Favart, Alain Signed.
In 1987, he acquired international renown by organizing the Grand Prix de France And in 1988 the final of the French Side-Cars championship.
