Adani Green Energy Limited is an Indian company specializing in renewable energies. The company is present in 12 states of India and focuses on the production of renewable solar, wind and hybrid (solar-wind) energy. It operates through two segments: the production of renewable energy and other related auxiliary activities and the sale of solar energy equipment. The segment of the sale of solar equipment includes an associated company, Mundra Solar Energy Limited. The company sells the renewable energy produced by its projects as part of a combination of long -term electricity purchasing contracts and on a market basis, as well as other auxiliary activities. It also develops a solar park in Khavda, Gujarat, on 19,000 hectares and sublet 6,129 hectares of land to its subsidiaries, including downstream subsidiaries and other linked parts. Its locked renewable energy portfolio amounts to approximately 21,953 megawatts (MW) (10,934 MW operational and 11,019 MW in progress) and additional 500 MW storage projects by pumping.
