A tragic road this Saturday, May 3, 2025 near Saré Coly Sallé, in the department of Vélingara, beating the educational community. The drama cost the lives of two people, including a student from CEM Saré Coly Sallé, and made several injured among the students.

This rapid reaction of the authorities was warmly praised by the populations of Fouladou, who expressed their gratitude for the presence of the minister in these painful circumstances. “His coming is a great comfort for us,” said a resident, visibly moved. Beyond compassion, Minister Guirassy took the opportunity to launch an appeal to the responsibility of all road users. He urged drivers to be prudence and vigilance, stressing that “each lost life is an to the nation”.
