The summer program in the three Rodez museums is attractive.
In Rodez, among other elements of tourist attractions, there are museums. Soulages, Fenaille, Denys-Puech make up a triptych that has been after being in the game. This summer again the programming of the Ruthenian museums will have all its charm.
The beautiful friendship between Varda and Soulages
To all lord, all honor, let’s start with the Soulages museum which will host for the first time an exhibition dedicated to Agnès Varda and baptized “I am curious. Point”.
“The Soulages museum exhibition project plays on the friendly link between Pierre and Colette Soulages and Agnès Varda in Sète, a link that she immortalized in the beaches of Agnès: the Soulages museum indeed has a certain number of photographs of the painter carried out by the filmmaker and his filming team. Exceptional donation
Finally, at the Denys-Puech museum, we made the choice to highlight Cosme de Scoraille. An unprecedented exhibition devoted to a “discreet painter of lyric abstraction and informal art”. “Thanks to an exceptional donation received in 2024, discover for the first time a selection of paintings, pastels, drawings and notebooks from a dense and mysterious work, remained in the shade for a long time. It will be seen from May 17 to March 8.
