He signs his comeback with a new album. But he admits that before getting there, Michel Polnareff was faced with the blank page syndrome. “It was a difficult test, but I am very proud of this disc”he says. And once is not custom, women were for him an inspiration. “What I like is love and friendship, these are my two battle horses”he continues. And when he finds himself on stage again, the reflection is made in two stages: “‘What am I doing there?’, I tell myself that, but the public welcome is so great that after ten minutes we are happy to be there”.
Pianist from a very young age, he admits that putting the piano was his enemy. It is now his “boyfriend”. “At the time, I was forced to piano with a somewhat difficult father. It was musical slavery”explains Michel Polnareff. For him who often sang death, he says he wonders, but is not frightened. But will he go to paradise? “I am under contract!”quips the artist.
