Aveyron Challenge Seniors over 50: Millau wins against Saint-Affrique
Engaged in Division 1, Poule A, the Gentlemen +50 year old team won 2/1 against Sporting Club Saint-Affricain. Dominique Faraux (15/4) bowed in simple against a better classified opponent (15/3), on the score of 6/2 6/0. Laurent Joullié has perfectly restored the balance by winning its match against a 30/1 (6/1 6/1), before winning in doubles again alongside Thierry Granier. Thanks to this second consecutive victory, the team takes the head of its pool alone.
Men’s regional championship – team 3 in division 3: a victory without playing
After an encouraging draw against the Réalmont Tennis Club during the 2nd day, team 3 of Som Tennis Millau won its weekend meeting by package, the Touillade Tennis Club could not align a team. A result that allows the Millavoise training to display a very positive assessment: two victories and a draw after three days. The rest is promising!
Ladies regional championship – Team 2 (regional 4, hen h): full box!
It is a real flawless for team 2 women of the SOM! Opposed to the Creissels Tennis Club, the Millavoises players won 5/0. Manon Cartayrade, Manon Lilas et Marceline Bertin All three won their match in simple, before the pair Cartayrade/Lilas concluded in double. Three games played, three victories: an excellent departure for this team with full confidence.
Ladies’ regional championship – regional 3, hen p: a new victory for team 1
This weekend, team 1 female of Som Tennis continues its flawlessness by winning 3/2 against Lapeyrouse-Fossat Tennis Club, after a particularly hung meeting.
Despite their combativeness, Romy Boyer et Manon Boyer Buckled in simple against opponents classified as 30/1 and 30 respectively. Elsa signed a good performance by winning her match in three tight sets. Everything was therefore played during the decisive double, which our representatives have brilliantly won, thus ensuring the final victory.
With three games played for as many victories, the team made an excellent start to the championship and confirms its ambitions in this regional pool.
