The black series continues on the roads of Bézu-Saint-Éloi, near Gisors (Eure).
This Monday, April 14, 2025, it was nearly 6:45 am when two cars collided during a frontal shock on the D14 bis.
At the exit of the town, in the direction of Etrépagny, the driver of a Renault Mégane struck that of a Toyota Chr.
The first, 57 years old and seriously injured after the shock was helicopter in absolute emergency at the Rouen University hospital. The second was hospitalized at the Gisors hospital center in a relative state of emergency.
A 3rd motorist hit a tree
A third motorist, who struck a tree along the road after trying to avoid the two vehicles involved in the frontal shock, was also admitted to the Gisors hospital. The RD 14 bis was closed to traffic in both directions until 10 am, while the emergency services intervene.
About fifteen firefighters dispatched from the fire and rescue centers in Gisors and Etrépagny intervened on the spot.
This new traffic accident is the latest of a series started at the start of the year and which has already twice the town, after the death of a pedestrian and a biker.

Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6, 2025, two other accidents, without serious injuries, had also taken place near the town, involving a total of four vehicles, including a motorcycle.
In order to put an end to this series of accidents, the municipality hopes to obtain funding for developments intended to limit speed and secure city entrances.
In addition, according to our information, the gendarmerie continues its investigations via a technical expertise in progress, in order to find the trace of the truck which would have fatally struck a resident of the town at the start of the year.
