Since the beginning of March, the Rufisque central police station has been seized of many complaints relating to cases of visa swindle. The investigations carried out by the police made it possible to confuse a single person behind these facts: the named A. Mbaye, also known as Amy Collé.

According to the elements of the , the operating mode was identical in all cases, affecting a total of 31 victims, distributed between 17 formal complaints and one to be transmitted. Global damage is estimated at 35.2 million CFA francs. During the search to the home of the questioning, the investigators got their hands on 66 valid passports, strengthening suspicions against him.

Questioned, A. Mbaye appointed a certain Diallo as his main accomplice. The latter would currently be on the run in Nigeria. Despite the efforts made, attempts to locate it and arrest have yet remained in vain.

The investigation continues to shed on this large -scale scam which plunged several families into disarray.
