new discoveries have been made in the case involving Farba Ngom, Tahirou Sarr, Amadou Sall and Cie. According to judicial sources cited by Walfquotidian, 251 plots and 29 alleged land titles, located between Yoff and the Almadies, belong to the mayor of Agnam, Farba Ngom. According to Walfquotidian, these goods would be distributed in different subdivisions of the capital. Other terrains are located in Burkina Faso and Benin, all attached to real estate companies supposedly linked to Farba Ngom, to his younger brother Amadou Sall and their sister.
As part of the exploitation of the Centive’s additional report, Farba Ngom was extracted from its cell on Tuesday, May 6 for a new hearing in the Criminal Investigations Division (DIC). According to judicial sources, the investigators confronted her with his alleged real estate discovered between Yoff and the Almadies. An investigation relating to its heritage, entrusting sources close to the file, revealed that Farba Ngom would be “owner of 251 plots from the hangar subdivisions of the pilgrims, the Boa subdivision, as well as 29 land titles located in the commune of Ngor-Almadies, in addition to real estate companies”. Walfquotidian stresses that these goods have not yet been publicly declared by the person concerned.
According to the same sources, Wodrose-Investment and SF-Farms companies, which belong to it, have acquired public titles on the secondary market in several UEMOA countries, notably in Burkina Faso, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo and Senegal. With regard to Tahirou Sarr, still in detention, the judicial sources argue that an analysis of financial flows would have confirmed the suspicions noted in the first report, based on rapid mobilization of funds, the magnitude of the amounts transferred abroad, as well as the lack of credible economic justification for certain operations. According to Walfquotidian, a parallel investigation into the partner companies of these operations is underway.
Beyond the land located in Ouakam, sold at 400 million CFA francs in 2022, and funds deemed “doubtful”, including a check for 200 million CFA francs in a file involving Samuel Sarr, the investigators discovered a company called SF Farms SAS, Senegalese farm company founded in 2020 and held by the children of Macky Sall: Mohamed Ibrahima Sall and Khatum Derwiche Sall. To this entity is added the SCI Newport, the SCP Asa Vinvest-Ivorian company sharing the same address as Wodrose-Investment-as well as Senegal Transport Service SARL. According to information from Walfquotidian, these companies share several interconnection links, both in terms of managers and financial movements.
These entities, according to judicial sources, have narrow and suspect financial links, on the one hand with Amadou Macky Sall, and on the other hand with Farba Ngom. The financial prosecution is in the process of identifying, day after day, all the alleged goods belonging to Farba Ngom. For Walfquotidian, this prosecutor’s approach could announce a series of new charges in the coming days. This affair, called “Farba Ngom affair”, still seems far from having delivered all its secrets.
