Currently PARME PAUME in Italian Serie B and former porter of the Senegal National Selection, the goalkeeper was the victim of a breach of trust which cost him very dear.
The case, revealed by the newspaper Liberation, challenges a businessman named Mouhamed Salam Diop, arrested by the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC). The 42 -year -old would have deceived the footballer’s vigilance on several financial operations, for total damage estimated at 135 million CFA francs. It all starts with a promising note.
The African champion decides to invest in the transport sector by buying two trucks for a total amount of 60 million. He entrusts their management to Mouhamed Salam Diop, who, over time, earns his confidence. Seduced by the apparent seriousness of his interlocutor, the player goes even further.
Pushed by the wish to acquire real estate in Saly, Alfred Gomis is offered a house at 105 million CFA francs. A video of the supposed well is sent to him, and reassured by that which he now considers as a trusted partner, he transfers the entire amount in 2023. But after this payment, no trace, no house, papers, no trucks.
The player quickly understands that he was due. Despite his multiple attempts to recover his property or obtain explanations, Mouhamed Salam Diop remains silent and refuses any reimbursement. The DIC ends up intervening, arising from the main suspect, who will now have to answer for his actions before the courts.
