Back in front of the net, after giving way to Cayden Primeau, Jacob Fowler pushed 18 of the 19 washers directed towards him. He signed the three Rocket victories in this series.
Luca del Bel Belluz replied for the Monsters. Jet Greaves still tried everything to keep his team in the series, but he had to admit defeated 32 stops.
-More dominant
If the Rocket had badly started the match on Sunday, it was completely the opposite on Tuesday. With aggressiveness and intensity, the men of Pascal Vincent abused their opponents and they set the tone from the first minutes.
No one was surprised to see them take the lead after only 4:22 of play.
Faced with a sustained aforementioned failure, the monsters were not able to identify their territory. William Trudeau took over the disc and he advanced in the enclave to uncheck a low shot. Greaves made a first judgment, but the washer was fake behind him before Simoneau pushes her into the net.
With the crowd on their side, the Lavallois had energy to make digital advantage damage, unlike the last match, during which they had been laundered on four occasions.
Dolphin first doubled the advance of his family when he redirected a low shot from Barré-Boulet. A few minutes later, Barré-Boulet gave the washer to Mailloux, who drew a powerful launch on reception which deceived the vigilance of Greaves.
It didn’t take more for the first “Olé!” Olé! Olé! »Make hear in place Bell. Supporters even thought they had the opportunity to celebrate another time in the first period, but Adam Engstrom’s shooting resulted directly on the post.
Laval training was also able to manage in digital disadvantage, at the start of the second commitment. Dauphin and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard have slowed down enemy attacks and even orchestrated one in two against one. The washer came close to the post, but did not penetrate.
The Columbus Blue Jackets school club was a little more threatening, but it had to wait for the last minutes of the period to finally thwart Fowler.
In counter-attack, Del Belluz brought into the Rocket area and waited for Trudeau to pass his goalkeeper to uncheck a throw in the top of the net.
Visitors were able to resist the pressure of the local team, at the last third, but they failed to make their opportunities a reality near the net. Samuel Knazko, forgotten in the enclave, came to Fowler, who did not give a return.
Rather than defending, the Rocket started attacking and has tested Greaves several times. The goalkeeper released the mitt to frustrate some of his opponents, but he couldn’t do anything at the end of the match, when Dauphin put the final touch in digital advantage.
