A video circulated on the internet on Monday, showing Israeli soldiers blowing up a residential building in Gaza, just to use the explosion that resulted in announceing the sex of a newborn with blue smoke, all accompanied by laughter, in a dismaying scene and incredible cruelty.
In this horrible video, which would have been shared by the soldiers themselves on social networks, we can see the moment when a powerful explosion destroys a building in a civil zone, with a bluish cloud of smoke rising in the sky, a perverse wink to the tradition of the celebrations of disclosure of the sex of a newborn. In the background, we hear laughter while the camera makes a panoramic on the rubble.
This umpteenth episode where the absurd disputes the inhumanity again testifies to the impunity which the Israeli forces enjoy in the “operations” which they continue to carry out against Palestinian civilians, as part of one of the most devastating humanitarian crises of the 21st century.
The results of the victims of the genocidal war waged by Israel against the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, reports more than 52,500 Palestinian deaths, including a majority of women and children, while 92 % of the enclave dwellings were destroyed or damaged. The army has used bulldozers, air bombings and ground explosions, while many houses were intentionally burned.
Last November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants against the Israeli Prime Minister, Benyamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated in the Gaza Strip.
Israel is also prosecuted for “crime of genocide” before the International Court of Justice (CIJ), due to the war he waged against the Palestinian enclave.
