The residence permitted at 4 years old (Sekkouri)

During the weekly session dedicated to oral issues in the House of Representatives, the minister said that the Moroccan seasonal contracts are supervised by a circular migration program which dates from ten years. “We have made notable progress and we are currently at 15,000 workers,” he said
Mr. Sekkouri explained that these are taken care of in the best conditions. He took care to deny the rumors of exploitation and alleged abuse of which they would have been victims. “We made sure what was relayed on this subject, this information has proven to be false,” he said, recalling that there was only one isolated case concerning 200 seasonal which had a dispute with an employer before being settled following the intervention of the competent authorities.

The minister said that a series of measures have been taken to facilitate the migration of Moroccan seasonal, including the extension of the duration of the residence permit at 4 years.
