En Answer to oral questions about employment policy, Sekkouri explained that previous policies focused mainly on the Asks, through the training of job seekers and their merger of the labor market, while the current vision widens to also include the offer, that is, the job opportunities created by the various productive sectors.
On this subject, the Minister revealed the creation of an inter -ministerial committee responsible for monitoring job creation, stressing that each department is now required to achieve specific objectives in this area, while being responsible for posts of its field.
Sekkouri also recalled that a budget of 15 billion dirhams (MMDH) was allocated to support the investment intended for small and medium -sized enterprises, under a decree providing for investment support ranging from 1 to 50 million dirhams, with the creation of quality jobs.
In addition, he said that the government has launched a program to support more than 110,000 very small businesses (VSEs) and self-employed, including the coverage of part of operational expenses (OPEX), in addition to investments (CAPEX), in particular equipment rental, employee remuneration and the acquisition of necessary equipment.
-On the request aspect, Sekkouri highlighted the importance of apprenticeship training as an effective mechanism for the integration of employment researchers, ensuring that the executive objective is to bring the number of beneficiaries of this system to 100,000, against 24,000 before, with financial support of 500 million dirhams.
The Minister also mentioned a reform plan for the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPE) aimed at strengthening its capacity to target job researchers, in particular those who have neither a diploma nor certificate, recalling that the last report of the High Commission for Plan (HCP) reports 910,000 unemployed without any diploma, and that programs have been specially designed for this category.
Sekkouri also emphasized the figures published earlier in the day by the HCP, revealing that the national economy created 282,000 jobs between the first quarter of 2024 and the same quarter in 2025, after having lost 80,000 jobs the previous year, considering that this figure reflects a positive dynamic compared to past years.
