A delegation from the Arab scout committee visiting Morocco: serving the aspirations of youth

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Department of Youth) had recently received a delegation from the Arab Scout Committee from the Ministry.

This reception is part of the interest that the kingdom of has in the Scout movement and the educational and national role played by associations and scout organizations in the supervision of people, the consecration of citizenship ​​and positive involvement in social issues.

In his speech during this meeting, the Secretary General stressed the importance of this bilateral partnership which aims to promote youth and volunteer in Morocco, support scouting activities and extend them to the whole Kingdom, in order to supervise youth and develop their leadership and social skills, in addition to instilling the values ​​of citizenship and responsibility through educational and cultural activities.

This partnership is a successful model for the integration of roles between the government sector and the Scout movement to serve the aspirations of Moroccan youth and strengthen its contribution to the development of society. This commitment is an essential pillar to highlight the skills and of Moroccan youth at the international level and confirm Morocco’s commitment in its role as a pioneer in the promotion of the values ​​of peace, dialogue and through scouting.
