The National Council of the Order of Notaries of Morocco will celebrate the centenary of the Moroccan notariat through a major scientific conference, May 13 and 14, 2025. The event will highlight the evolution of the profession, its essential role in securing transactions and its impact on the economy.
As part of the celebration of the centenary of the notariat in Morocco, the National Council of the Order of Notaries of Morocco (CNONM) will organize a major scientific conference on May 13 and 14, 2025 in Rabat, under the theme: “100 years of the notariat … The ink which guarantees the rights, and the seal which builds the confidence of tomorrow”. This prestigious event will pay tribute to the history and evolution of the notarial profession in Morocco, highlighting its essential role in securing transactions, the protection of the rights of citizens, as well as its influence in the attractiveness of investments.
Bringing together more than 500 participants, including notaries, magistrates, law experts, as well as researchers and representatives of public and private institutions, this conference will serve as a real platform to discuss contemporary challenges and issues related to the evolution of the profession. The discussions will focus on the impact of recent and future legal reforms, as well as on the new trends that shape the sector, such as digitalization and artificial intelligence.
