More than ten years after the tragic death of Cory Monteith, Lea Michele again engaged in this drama in the podcast “Therapuss with Jake Shane”.
The 38 -year -old actress, who made herself known by playing Rachel Berry in “Glee”, attended the actor from 2012 to July 2013, when he died of an overdose of heroin and alcohol. Returning to this painful era, Lea admitted that she not only found it sad and depressing to have her mourning in public but also had the impression that it had an impact on her friendships with the other stars of Glee.
“It was so unthinkable, but I had to continue, I was not allowed to stop,” she says.
Asked about the effect that this had on her friendships with the distribution of Glee, Lea recognized that things changed later.
“I think it really fractured,” she said. “Again, I can’t speak for everyone, I think in some ways, it helped some people, but I think … for me, it was so hard that I collapsed. And a large part [de l’équipe originale] had left at that time, which was difficult. ”
