“In honor of the Met Gala this evening, we remember these emblematic looks,” we have read on the Instagram page of Céline Dion since Monday, evening of the famous Met Gala which was held in New York.
To underline the opportunity, the Quebec singer – who did not participate in this year gala – published clichés of the looks she had displayed during her two Met Gala presences, in 2017 and 2019.
Céline Dion has not attended the Met Gala for six years. During its last appearance, the Diva wore one of the largest caps presented on the Red Carpet of the Met. Her dress was inspired by the series of theatrical productions by Broadway Les Ziegfeld Follies.
According to the magazine People, She had required “more than 3000 hours of work from 52 master embroiders and weighed more than 10 kg”.

-To make her debut at the prestigious event in 2017, Céline Dion had carried a creation workshop Versace imagined by Donatella Versace.
The two photos of that time show her strolling in the big apple dressed in her long black and silver dress, holding her black and white umbrella on her head, then climbed on a scaffolding of the city that never sleeps.
