The Elusa estate, in Vic-Fezensac, will organize its second open day on Sunday, May 4. Gari and Karol Garrigos will warmly welcome visitors.
This year, nearly 40 artists and craftsmen will be present to share their passion and their know-how. Among them, the public will be able to discover the impressive giant Manu steel sculptures (up to 5 to 6 meters high), the universe of Street Art of Pandaman, or Bea and Annabelle, which will make a live sculpture.
On the well-being side, many workshops will be offered by exhibitors for an artistic and relaxing experience. The day will be punctuated by a fashion show, a musical animation at noon and an aperitif concert at the end of the afternoon.
Children will not be forgotten, with a musical tale, a puppet workshop and wooden games that will be specially dedicated to them.
-Visitors will also have the possibility of exploring the lavenderness of the estate, a true natural gem. They will admire long rows of lavandin (a particularly resistant Provencal hybrid), wild lavender, lemony verbena, lemony thyme and even some olive trees. A botanical curiosity: certain varieties of lavender, usually cultivated at 700-800 meters above sea level, were perfectly adapted to the local terroir.
Present on the Vic, Gari and Karol Garrigos market offer a wide variety of bottles for delicate scents for sale. They are also market gardeners and aromatic plants.
The entrance will be free. An on -site catering will be offered, with organic vegetable plates and other delights to savor near the refreshment bar. All in a bucolic and friendly setting.
This second edition, even richer than the previous one who had gathered visitors from Gimont in Biarritz around 25 artists, retains the same warm and family spirit.
