This year, the Quebec Association for Hygiene, Health and Labor Safety (AQHSST) awards the Antoine-Aumont prize to France Labrèche, senior researcher at the Research Directorate of the Robert-Sauvé Institute in Health and Labor Safety (IRSST) and Associate Professor of Clinique at the University of Montreal.
This award will be awarded to him during the opening ceremony of the 45th Annual Congress of the AQHSST to be held on May 22 at the Best Western Universal Hotel in Drummondville. Each year, the AQHSST honors a person or a group through the AQHSST Antoine-Aumont prize, making it possible to provide tangible recognition to people who made a remarkable contribution in labor hygiene or in health and safety of labor in Quebec. This distinction awarded to France Labrèche highlights its remarkable contributions to improving occupational health, as well as its commitment to prevention and understanding of occupational diseases. Its exceptional scientific contribution enriches research in occupational health and safety (SST) and in labor hygiene.
About the aqhsst
The Quebec Association for Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety (AQHSST) was founded in 1978. The only French -speaking association in North America, it brings together specialists, professionals, researchers and scientists working in labor hygiene, health and occupational safety and ergonomics. The aim of this association is to promote knowledge, among other things, by training and popularization of information to the community of professionals in these areas, but also with its succession student.
