Eurovision 2025: Third day of rehearsals (MàJ: Conclusion)

The first individual rehearsals of Eurovision 2025 continue with the first 8 countries of the second semi-final! These will have to tame the scene of the St. Jakobshalle In order to set up their scenography, visual effects and camera investments. It is Michaël who will follow with you this 3ᵉ day.

Australia

The service starts on a… TV report showing Go-Jo, happy milkshake seller. The staging immediately evokes the Milkshake Man clip. The singer is in a retro white suit, with collar and red tie. Two dancers in red and white striped dresses are with him. At the end, the whole room becomes a huge disco dance-flow with fluorescent pink lasers. Overall, the whole service contains a “80s” vibe.

The Eurovision.TV report tells us about a central accessory, which is not, however, the clip ice truck, but they refuse to say more …!

Montenegro

Nina is at the center of the scene, she wears a white dress, different from that of Montesong, with a long train starting from her headdress. The ground is wrapped in smoke. The decor shows us white points of light that come together in whirlpools, in white and blue lighting. Nina advances on the bridge at the time of the final.

Ireland

Emmy wears a “metallic” dress with a pleated skirt, silver boots and a helmet -shaped hood. She begins her performance, lit by spotlights, on a brilliant metal platform in the center of the scene, evoking a lunar module. His brother is still in keyboards, dressed in a metallic silver shirt and his starred sunglasses. Four dancers, all dressed in silver pants and black and silver vests, dance in front of Erland with each chorus.

On the LED walls, the floating bones have disappeared, replaced by neon planets and animated space cats. During the refrain, you can see a constellation that forms the silhouette of Laïka, the dog, from stars. The song ends with fireworks (real).

Latvia

The tautumeitas now wear golden combinations carrying details reminiscent of branches or fins and wear golden headdresses that change color over the song. Apart from that, the performance is almost identical to that proposed at the supernova: the curtain of threads still there, the lighting is however more powerful, and the LED wall also ends up entering into activity, by showing animals of trompe-l’oeil to singers.

Armenia

Any new presentation of Survivor : PARG wears a black vest and studded leather pants, more armor. Part of the LED lights are lowered and flash in a synchronized way with music. PARG start at the back of the stage, with an effect giving the impression that he comes out of a tunnel, then he makes most of his performance on a treadmill, on which he runs during the refrain. At the end, the LED lights go up, and flames spring up on the last chorus, the treadmill begins to smoke too….

Austria

JJ wears a long black leather coat. The service is broadcast in black and white. Lighting therefore play specially with the dark/light contrast, increasing with the intensity of the song.

JJ is on a boat created with packaging boxes, with a mast and a sail. In the second chorus, a storm rises, JJ clings to the mast. The camera moves so as to give the illusion that the boat is swinging. Lots of wind on stage. The screen diffuses waves and storm clouds invade the background. At the end, an aerial shooting gives the impression that the boat is sucked in a whirlwind, until the appearance of a headlight on the screen.

Greece

The Greek delegation, just like Cyprus yesterday, gave its own explanation of the staging: ” Klavdia begins on the stage of Eurovision standing on a quay. Its movement towards a rock symbolizes the ardent journey that everyone begins towards the light. The presence of a second person on stage, as well as the movement of the decor, reflect the theme of separation – the central message of the song “Asteromata”«

Klavdia has put on a sparkling dress blue navy, and is therefore on a rock most of the performance, and accompanied by a single dancer. On the LED screen, you can see land sets from a fire, volcanoes. The LED lights descend at the end of the performance to create a degraded light effect.

Lithuania

The staging of Eurovizja.LT is preserved. Group members are dressed in blue. The decor shows a sorry landscape, an exploding house and flying rocks. The lighting goes a lot from shadow to light. In the second verse, Lukas descends to the forefront with the guitarists. Close -ups on his face show the wind in his face.

Conclusion

Still on these descriptions, we first see that two countries play the sea card, Greece and the Austrian favorite which makes you want. We knew what to expect for Latvia and Lithuania. Montenegro and Ireland are in line with expectations. We still wonder what the Australian visual who must be special, and above all, look like the performance of Armenia which seems to have put the package!
