It will be made up of 21 stages that will start from the Piedmont in Italy, for a long arrival in Madrid, the Spanish capital, evening 21 stages for a total distance of 3,151 km.
Vuelta: the journey of the fourth stage
Among all these steps, The fourth will therefore lead the peloton to Voiron, in Isère. It will be a middle -mountain stage at the Susa departure in Italy, Or 192 km.
In detail, the peloton will arrive fairly quickly in France, just after 36e kilometer with a first difficulty, which will be the Montgenévre neck at 1,854 m altitude, before a descent on Briançon. Will also arrive at the ascent of Col du Lautaret from category 2, to 2,059 m. Cyclists will then descend to Le Bourg-d’Oisans, Vizille, Sassenage and Voiron.
