The UFOLEP departmental mountain bike championship passed between rainy drops and benefited from a beautiful afternoon last weekend, on the Permanent Sablière circuit, made available to the Alva 2 Rives Cyclosport by the municipality. Generally devoted to cyclo-cross, the track was slightly modified for all-terrain bikes (mountain bike). The departmental bodies entrusted this organization to the friendships who have just celebrated their fiftieth year of existence, thus combining as many years of experience in the matter.
About fifty mountain bikers contributed, chicks to seniors, mainly from Valence-d’Agen and Saint-Projet, which will host the regional championship on Sunday, April 27. Certain categories have given rise to beautiful duels, as in 50-59 years, between the friendship Régis Larroque and his two pursuers, the Quercinois Cyril Loupiac and the project Luc Valentin. Also tightly tight in 40-49 years, where Valencien Jérémie Souton had to let his Castelsagratois neighbor Robin Duez pass.
Occitanie Regional Championship. It will take place on Sunday, April 27, on the Saint-Projet circuit, more hilly, between wood and meadows, on often stony paths, worthy of the Causses between Limogne and Quercy. Competitors will probably not have time to discover the castle of Queen Margot!
