This Monday, May 5, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis de Wales accompanied their parents and grandfather during the Festivities of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. From May 5 to 8, King Charles III and the members of the British royal family attend commemorative events linked to the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. This Monday, the British sovereign launched the festivities by attending, from a provisional platform installed at the foot of the Memorial of Queen Victoria, to a military parade. King Charles III was surrounded by Queen Camilla, veterans and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

At the end of the official gallery, other members of the royal family attended the parade. Prince William was surrounded by his whole family. Princess Catherine, who has greatly reduced the number of her appearances since the announcement of her cancer last year, was exceptionally present to attend this procession. The prince and the princess of Wales also surprised to come accompanied by their children.

This May 5, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis therefore appeared to the balcony of the Buckingham Palace to attend the last part of the program: the overview of the Red Arrows, the acrobatic patrol of the Royal Air Force. As always the appearance on the balcony remains a great moment for the British. For the population gathered in front of the gates of the Buckingham Palace, the show is both in the air as in the balcony.

As often, it is the latest, Prince Louis, who attracted attention the most. The little prince made a few grimaces to the delight of his mother, while Prince George, 2nd in the order of succession to the throne, already showed greater seriousness.
