Higher percentage than in Quebec: more than 3 out of 10 Albertans in favor of independence

About 36% of the Albertans are in favor of a separation from their if a referendum took place, according to the latest Angus Reid .

The citizens of the province of Saskatchewan share a similar opinion, with 34% of respondents supporting independence.

These are higher figures than in Quebec: 29% of Quebecers support the sovereignty of the beautiful province, according to a survey that dates from March.

These percentages for the meadow provinces include people who are strongly in agreement and those who “lean in favor” of independence. The number of respondents “strongly in agreement” is reduced to 19% in Alberta and 15% in Saskatchewan.
