Emil Frey Belgium sets off in the industrial vehicle sector. The car distributor announced this Tuesday, May 6, the takeover of Ab Lens Motor, an active company on four sites in Wallonia and partner of Renault Trucks.
With this operation, finalized on March 14, the Belgian subsidiary of the Swiss group diversifies its activities beyond the sale of passenger cars. Ab Lens Motor employs a hundred people and distributes brands like Fiat Professional (Utility Véhickens) or JCB (site equipment). In 2024, the company sold 700 new vehicles for a turnover of 50 million euros. The amount of the transaction was not communicated.
Present in Liège-Bierset, Eupen, Hotton and Fleurus, the Walloon company further accentuates the network of Emil Frey Belgium, which is already based on a network of 30 concessions under the Autoschere banner. Last year, this network sold just over 32,000 vehicles in Belgium and Luxembourg, for a consolidated turnover of 809 million euros.

This acquisition should allow Emil Frey to meet the growing demand for his professional customers, while developing new relay for turnover and profitability, in addition to its historic activity, the automotive retail.
