Royal Air Maroc and The Terminal One (NTO)-New Terminal 1 of John F. Kennedy (JFK) in New York-signed a strategic partnership allowing the national airline to operate its flights from the new Terminal 1, and this from June 2026, thus marking a new stage in its growth strategy in the States.

This long -term partnership between Royal Air Maroc and The New Terminal One is part of the airline’s ambitious strategy aimed at strengthening transatlantic links between Africa and Americas, while offering improved customer experience via one of its major international doors, both parties said in a joint press release.

Indeed, The New Terminal One represents a key of the JFK transformation project, led by the airport authority in New York and New Jersey. With an investment of $ 19 billion, this international project aims to make JFK airport a gateway.

The project also provides for the creation of two new terminals, the modernization and extension of two existing terminals, a new land transport center and a fully redesigned and simplified road network.

For his part, the Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc, Hamid Addou, said: “This partnership with The New Terminal One represents a major for Royal Air Maroc and consolidates its strategic presence in New York, a key entry door for our transatlantic operations. We are proud to integrate this innovative terminal, which will offer our customers an unrivaled and aligned travel experience on our standards of excellence. In addition, this project is fully part of our development plan, which aims to position Royal Air Maroc as a global air carrier ”.

Currently, Royal Air is ensuring its flights to Casablanca from Terminal 1 existing at JFK airport at the rate of two frequencies per , aboard Boeing 787 aircraft. From June 2026, the airline will be relocated to the new terminal 1, thus offering a renewed travel experience to its customers going to the emblematic city of New York.

In collaboration with Royal Air Maroc, The New Terminal One will offer a fluid customer route, from at airport until boarding, thanks to advanced technology, modern design and excellent service.

In addition, premium shopping and restoration offers will enhance each stage of the experience for Royal Air Maroc customers at the start of one of the United States strategic hubs.

Royal Air Maroc is the member of the Oneworld Alliance to choose the new Terminal 1 and joins a growing community of leading airlines that will operate from this terminal like Air France, KLM, Etihad, Lot Polish Airlines, Korean Air, Eva Air, Air Serbia, SAS, Neos, Philippine Airlines, Turkish Airlines, China.
