The Director General ofOpenai Sam Altman said on Monday that the company behind Chatgpt abandoned its disputed project, notably by Elon Musk, to become a for -profit company.

“We have made the decision to remain a non -profit company after listening to the leaders of civil society and exchanged with the offices of the Attorneurs of California and Delaware,” said Sam Altman in an email addressed to the staff and published at the company’s website at the same time.
