The book “Mother alone and brave-the course of a resilient woman”, written by Ange Koffa was officially presented on Friday 02 May 2025 in Abidjan-Plateau. An event marked by the presence of many personalities, placed under the chairmanship of Mr. Faman Touré and the patronage of Ms. Diakité Fatoumata.
Posted by Éditions Lumière Communication, the 125 -page book, structured in five parts, traces the life of a woman confronted with pain, but carried by faith and resilience. Angel Koffa first talks about his childhood and school career there, then his life as a wife and a fulfilled mother. She then reveals, with courage, the domestic violence suffered, social humiliations, before delivering the stages of its reconstruction: a difficult divorce, a period of depression and, above all, a spiritual rebirth which will bring it to redefine itself. The last part of the book is an ode to inner strength: that of a standing, active, and now committed woman.
Among the highlights of the ceremony, the intervention of the godmother, Sylvie Ello Niamoutié, particularly touched the audience:
“I am very happy with the little girl who was yesterday and who Today becomes this strong woman. It is a grace … I will take around fifty books to offer them to several women, hoping that they can be built. »»
With simple words and full of faith, she praised the author of the author, while reaffirming her unwavering support.
The former Minister of Sports, Geneviève Bro Gregbe, also delivered a powerful message:
“Ivorian women were not used to talking. Today, they dare. And when I see them talking, I’m really proud. The next generation is there. We must continue. You shouldn’t be afraid to be seen for good things. »»
She encouraged all women to express themselves, break the silences and refuse the suffering imposed by social standards.
Organized by Light Communication editions, in collaboration with several partners, this literary meeting was marked by sincere exchanges and overwhelming testimonies. Through this personal account, Ange Koffa gives a voice to mothers alone, too often invisible, and invites solidarity.
