This last weekend, the local basketball club organized the grand finale of the Third Basketball Division Chair which took place at the Pierre-Paul Riquet gymnasium. Three teams were present with one from the Burgundy region; Dijon, that of Valenciennes in the North who made the car trip and had to travel for eleven hours on the road and finally the TIC TIC team. Beautifully organized by the volunteers of the Saint-Orens club, the event was very successful in a strong atmosphere of solidarity and camaraderie. Many elected officials were present at the time of the awards presentation, we were able to see between many others, André then, delegate for sports, David Renvazé delegate for valuation and accompaniment of the Handisport, Julienne Mukabucyana elected from the metropolis representing it. The meetings took place in an excellent atmosphere, the teams that brought in numerous and very fair play supporters. It was ultimately the Dijon team that won the event followed by Toulouse and Valenciennes who closed the march knowing that once again eleven hours of road awaited them. These impressive meetings had the success they deserved and the applause fed for players and volunteer organizers were very appreciated, all made an appointment for a next competition.
