Sunday, May 4, took place at the countryside the second edition of the Book and Art Fair, organized by the Association L’Art et la Matre, in partnership with the Association Les Authors d’Occitanie. The weather has somewhat disrupted the day with in particular the installation of art craftsmen planned outdoors. The presents were able to find refuge in the room in the absence of authors. Before opening to the public at 10 a.m., the official inauguration took place in the presence of Cathy Gouiry, mayor of the town, Gérard Baylet, president of the association of authors of Occitanie, Franck Macias, the assistant secretary, and the members of the Association L’Art et la Matre. After the speeches, the exhibitors appreciated the breakfast offered by the municipality. The day was a success despite the drop in the number of visitors due to the rain. All the universes were offered: poetry, youth, comics, historical writings, terroir novels, thriller, thriller, news … The public was able to take the time to exchange with thirty authors present in the room.
Congratulations to the volunteers of these two associations for the organization of this beautiful cultural day. The appointment is made for 2026.
